About Course

Course Objective

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Understand and use basic phrases and expressions needed for everyday communication.
Introduce themselves and others, and ask and answer simple personal questions (e.g., about where they live, people they know, and things they have).
Interact in a simple way, provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Develop basic pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing skills in German, with an introduction to German culture and customs.
